Grounds of hope

Its been a while and we thought it was that time again for a  quick GoH Update

• BUILDING : All inspections on buildings are presently taking place. Building Code/Fire Marshal/Electrical/Historic/HVAC/Asbestos. Some with really pleasing results. Others we await. These will obviously determine refit/refurbishment costs. We are ecstatic to say we have received numerous offers of free labor and equipment from many of you!

• VISION :  We are finalizing menu concepts, design and imaging ideas. Very exciting. Some amazing Revenue Stream ideas unfolding. eCommerce re-designing and web architects are crafting www.groundsofhope.com – it will be amazing.
  

• LEASING :  We are beginning to negotiate the commercial lease for the property at 101 w Louisiana. Hopefully allowing us the option to potentially purchase the property at some point. We continue to gain inquiry from potential sub leasers for office space upstairs. All encouraging.
  

• COLLABORATION : Partnership discussions with World Vision, 3e McKinney, Samaritan Inn and Missional Church Center are all underway. These relationships bring wonderful credibility to Grounds of Hope, globally and locally.
  

• BUSINESS : We are presently investigating other faith based “off campus” business projects, gleaning from them, walking their journey.
  

• FUNDING : We have just 33 days!!! to see if we can reach our goal of $75,000 (by September 1). Cash in hand is only around $20,000 but we have around $25,000 in outstanding verbal pledges. Others continue to pray through their contribution. We need help in helping us reach our goals. Could you be one of a thousand to give $100 – one of a hundred to give a $1000 or somewhere between? Now is the time realize the goals set before us, and we need all of you!
